When you’re part of a group of friends, communication is key. We want Friendly Trips to be a participatory and close-knit community, where everyone can share their opinions, propose ideas, and stay informed about upcoming trips and activities. That’s why we’ve created different communication channels so that each Friendly Traveller can choose the one that best fits their daily routine.

The best part is that this will evolve over time. We want to get to know each other and continuously improve the way we communicate. Here, we tell you all the ways we can stay connected.

1. Social Media: The fastest way to stay updated

Today, Instagram and TikTok are our main windows to the world. Through these networks, we share information about our trips, activities, and meetups, but we also want them to be participatory spaces where the community has a voice.

📍 Polls and voting: We want to know which destinations interest you and what activities you would like to do.

📍 Opinions on the Friendly Trips: Would you prefer a weekend getaway or a big trip? Would you like an activity in the city? We want to hear from you.

📍 Community in action: We share photos and experiences from our Friendly Travellers so each trip stays alive even after it’s over.

If you’re not following us yet, do it now and join the conversation! Friendly Trips on Instagram and TikTok 📲💙

2. Our website: Detailed information and updates

Our website is the most complete information hub about Friendly Trips. Here, you can find details about our upcoming trips, activities, and everything related to the community.

However, we know that a website is usually more one-directional, which is why we are working on new ways to make it more participatory.

🔹 Friendly Trips Blog: On our newly launched blog, we will write articles about travel, friendship, and community experiences. But it won’t just be a regular blog; we want it to spark debate and allow Friendly Travellers to leave their opinions and comments. Our articles will be posted on social media to start conversations. It will also be a section where we invite our friendly travellers to talk about a destination they’ve visited, share ideas, or simply inspire one another.

🔹 Suggestions and activities section: We are exploring ways for you to send us ideas for destinations, activities, and improvements to the community directly from the website.

We’ll soon tell you more updates about this!

3. WhatsApp: From an informational channel to a large community

We know that important information often gets lost on social media or websites. That’s why we’ve created a WhatsApp channel where you’ll receive the most important updates about Friendly Trips directly for those who want faster information:

🔹 Announcements of new trips and activities.
🔹 Last available spots on Friendly Trips so you don’t miss out on your seat.
🔹 Reminders about meetups and events so you’re always up to date.

But this doesn’t stop here. We will soon evolve into a WhatsApp group where everyone can chat, share experiences, and make plans together. So, if you join the channel, we might invite you first to the WhatsApp group.

We want it to be a participatory space, where we can interact more directly and continue building the community beyond just trips.

4. Meetups and activities: The best way to connect

Although digital channels are super useful, nothing replaces face-to-face connection. Friendly Trips isn’t just an online community, it’s a group of friends who meet, travel, and share experiences.

🔹 Monthly meetups: Events where we get to know each other, share experiences, and plan upcoming trips together.
🔹 Afterworks and dinners: Casual meetups to chat and laugh without rushing.
🔹 Group activities: Treasure hunts, wine tastings, hiking, escape rooms… any excuse to have a good time.

These meetups are not only for fun, but also to improve Friendly Trips together. We want to hear your ideas, know what you’d like us to do, and how we can grow this community.

5. Our office: A meeting point always open

Friendly Trips isn’t only online. Our office in Carmen is where you can come to get information, chat about upcoming trips, or simply stop by to say hello.

If you prefer direct communication, you’ll always have a space here to ask anything you need. We love meeting Friendly Travellers in person, so if you ever pass by the neighborhood, don’t hesitate to visit us.

A community that evolves with you

We know that these communication channels will continue to evolve. Friendly Trips isn’t just a group of trips, it’s a community of traveller friends, and just like any group of friends, we want communication to be smooth, close, and natural.

We are open to suggestions and want you to help us improve. If you have any ideas about how we could communicate better, let us know!

Because the key to Friendly Trips isn’t just travelling, but sharing, connecting, and creating friendships that last long beyond a trip.

Are you following us on social media? Are you joining our WhatsApp? Will we see you at the next meetup? We can’t wait to stay in touch with you! 🌍💙
