How is a Friendly Trip Created?
1. First Step: Suggestions and Proposals for Friendly Trips
Through our social media, we suggest proposals for Friendly Trips. Friendly Travellers can also make their own suggestions regarding destinations and dates. Do you have a place in mind or an ideal date? We want to know!
2. We create a tentative monthly calendar with trips and activities that we continuously expand.
We publish a provisional calendar on our social media and website with suggested trips and activities. This calendar includes: proposals for Friendly Trips with destinations, dates, and price estimates. We also propose other activities and events for our community.
3. Pre-registration for trips and activities
Friendly Travellers can like or pre-register for the trips and experiences they are most interested in through social media and our website. This helps us identify the most popular destinations and activities. Pre-registering doesn’t commit you to anything, but it shows the interest in a trip from our community and gives you priority for that trip. Once we reach a minimum level of interest in a trip proposal (likes or pre-registrations), we create a final offer—a Friendly Trip with a specific itinerary, price, dates, and all the details of the trip.
4. We launch a final trip offer, and if you're interested, you can officially sign up
With the offer launched in advance, Friendly Travellers sign up until the group for that trip is formed, with a maximum of 25 people, ensuring closeness and connection. Once the Friendly Travellers
5. We create the community and group for that specific trip
With the confirmed Friendly Travellers, a specific community is formed for the trip. At this stage:
– We organize pre-trip meetings.
– We provide presentations about the destination.
– We foster a dynamic environment so that group members can get to know each other before the trip departs.
6. We design the overall experience with the group
In one or two pre-trip preparation meetings, we all get to know each other, suggest additional activities, and adapt trip details according to the group’s preferences. This way, everyone feels involved in creating the experience.
7. It's time to travel!
The group, already familiar and excited, embarks on the adventure. Since all the activities have been designed together, fun and connection flow naturally.
8. The experience continues upon returning
After the trip, we keep the group’s spirit alive with monthly meetups, activities, and events designed to strengthen the bonds formed—not just within the group, but with the broader community. This ensures there are constant activities to maintain those friendships with us. Because at Friendly Trips, every journey is the beginning of lasting connections.
